• About: Radio Deutsche Welle was a booming shortwave station back in the 1970s. I frequently tuned in and enjoyed their news and cultural programming. They are still broadcasting but have a lower profile on shortwave.

• About: KBC is located in Holland but has their transmitter is in Germany. They have a weekly popular music broadcast to North America. Check their website for details.

• Station: Charleston Radio International
• Band: Shortwave on 5140 KhZ
• Date: March 13, 2022
• About: Supposedly Charleston Radio International is a "pirate" station. They play 1920s and 1930s foxtrot, jazz and schlager music. Station announcements are made through a synthesized female voice. They have been on the air since 2018 and currently broadcast 24 hours a day. The shows are well produced and authentic. Listening is like going back to the 1920s.

• Station: Radio Delta International in Elburg, Germany
• Band: Shortwave on 6020 KhZ
• Date: April 16, 2022
• About: Radio Delta International is a 1,000 watt station that broadcasts on the weekend to northern Germany and Finland. They should not be confused with Delta Radio Network, a different and commercial broadcaster in Germany. Radio Delta International has an interesting mix of local and English language music. That was followed by an hour of Finnish music.

• Station: HCJB in Weenemoor, Germany
• Band: Shortwave on 3995 KhZ
• Date: March 26, 2022
• About: HCJB is an acronym for Heralding Christ Jesus' Blessings. I listened to them in the 1970s when they were based out of Quito, Ecuador. It is a wonderful radio station with a beautiful message. I was happy to find them again on the shortwave bands.

• Band: Shortwave on 6160 KhZ
• Date: March 13, 2022
• About: The station is run by shortwave radio enthusiasts on a non-political and non-commercial basis. They broadcast with just 1,000 watts to the UK, Ireland and the Benelux countries. Transmitting location is in Winsen, Lower Saxony / Germany in accordance with a license issued by the German Federal Net Agency.

• Station: Funklust in Erlangen, Germany
• Band: Shortwave DRM on 15785 KhZ
• Date: January 20, 2023
• About: Funklust is a German Digital Radio Mondiale shortwave station that began broadcasting in 2003. Funklust is the student radio station of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in Germany. The station is a partnership between the university and the nearby Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits.
  
  The original transmitter was a 1,000 watt Telefunken S2525 DRM-capable transmitter. Fraunhofer replaced it with a new RFmondial 250 watt transmitter, which feeds the signal into a vertical lambda/four-monopole antenna mounted on a concrete mast at a height of 58 meters (just over 190 ft.)
